This Vose baby grand has a few stories to tell! It may have been built in 1925, but a combination of love and care, plus a few thousand dollars worth of.
I have a Vose and Sons upright concert grand piano, serial number 45097. Can You tell me when it was made and what the value might be? It is in excellent playing condition, the cabinet is beautifully carved mahogany, and holds a tune well. Thanks -

It is 1900 date. see the value page on the pdf attached.
Value depends on technical condition throughout.
These value will be for pianos in as-is with no work done or some work or rebuild.

There is no such thing as an 'Upright Concert Grand Piano'. Use the correct words.
What you have is an old upright piano. It is a vertical design, it is 'upright', it stands against a wall. Some are taller than others but none are a concert grand design. NONE. Some are quite nice, some are worthy of restoration, perhaps yours is one or the other. For a market value consult a piano restoration expert in your area or an experienced and insured piano appraisal expert with 20 years plus in the biz. Be careful, many people place a far greater value on them than what is actual. 'A thing is worth What it Will Bring':........ Ben Franklin
A concert grand piano is 9ft long or greater, has three legs, is shaped like a flat wing that is parallel to the floor. It is usually found on a concert stage, recording studio or the home music studio of a professional pianist. They are not found in a normal or usual living room as they will retail at a price point far over one hundred thousand dollars new.

looks like nobody got some good info, just didn't know how to use it or understand it...poor nobody. give him a break...he is probably peddling as fast as he can and finally came up with, 'what a ****' after pondering the info. hmmm?...and he had so many choices to choose from?
if you're retarded and you know it, then your actions surely show it....clap your hands!

Actually you are incorrect. Grand Piano refers to the length of the strings and yes, there are concert grand uprights. You should probably do your research. Check out the FAQs on the Antique Piano Shop website.
